i used to recieve flowers in my office on V'day in the past... Cos i've got a bf who works in NOEL where ordering flowers is as easy as snapping his fingers... But now not anymore... Cos DaR is in-charge of 101 things during the season's time... From X'mas to V'day every year is their company's peak period, where orders start flooding in & they have to work shifts in order to process all of them... & their yearly bonus depends alot on the revenue during this time of the year... & being in-charge, means he has to perform chores from IT (setting up all the systems), to HR (hiring temp staffs, scheduling their timetable, doing their payroll), to Trainer (training them to process the many orders with the system), etc, etc & even to the extend of being a taxi driver (sending the temps home after work at 6am in the morning)... Our yellow jazz really become the yellow citycab liao loh... kua kua kua...
DaR was busy & keep reminding me the nite b4 not to expect any flowers to be delivered to my office... & no doubt, really no flowers for me... :( But he promised he'll be early to pick me up for dinner... But end up, he reach Science Park only at nearly 9pm!!! & al'tot we agreed that we're not gonna get "chop", & just have somethg simple... doesn't mean we shld go to the foodcourt where we'll go 3 out of the 5times a wk when come DaR pick me off work... (-_-")
Seeing me looking disappointed, he still jokingly say no surprises or flowers but got me 2 balloons... I was thinking, "balloons AGAIN sia!!! izzit those i got on my birthday & this time ONLY 2? After dinner like any other day, he sent me home straight... at the carpark, he showed me the balloons... it's those Big Bubble Type with "I LOVE YOU" on it... Now i know why only got 2... Then duno why suddenly, he insisted on keeping one for himself... I gave him a look & think, "What's on his mind sia? Get 2 balloons still want to keep one for himself..."I went home feeling kinda disappointed at how the day ended... Not long after i stepped into my room, DaR called me... Say he stomach pain ask me open the door he want to come up & use the toilet... So i opened the door & waited for him... Then at the corner of my eye i saw the other balloon which DaR insist on keeping tied onto a box near the plants along the corridor...
But he was nowhere to be seen... My fone rang & DaR was ald on his way back home sia... Really so sweet of him to think of such ideas to give me a surprise... He's someone who is not good at keeping secrets... Think he may have kana "internal injuries" for not telling me throughout the nite... hahaha =P He specially went to buy my present with his ah bang, Yahzid the nite b4 after work... This is the 1st time DaR buy something for me himself as a real surprise instead of bringing me along to choose on my own... Feel so so xing fu neh... *muacks*

DaR bought me the new patented design, Novi Ring from SK jewellery... It came with a free cream bear which was real cute with the scarf on its neck... I LOVE IT ALOT!!! Thanks Darling...
Al'tot i was still down on fever, flu and sore throat on my birthday, i still insist of going to work after lunch so I can go Mount Faber, Jewel Box as per plan for my birthday celebration...

Attended Yuyi's Wedding last Sun at Le Meridien Hotel... Yuyi was my pri sch classmate & his hubby my NUS classmate... we only got to know it on our NUS Convocation when Yuyi saw me on stage recieving my scroll... So there was no reason not to attend both their wedding...
They were an item since they were in sec sch... which means they have been together for more than a decade & now finally tying the knot... I was invited under the pri sch gang... Mrs Lily Goh, our pri 5 & 6 form teacher was there too...

They have these 2 friends who sing LIVE throughout dinner... they sound real professional loh... We'll like in some clubs listening to LIVE Band performance... It was very enjoyable & somethg different from all other weddings... & according to Yuyi, How Keat was not those romantic type... So that nite, Hoe Keat surprise Yuyi by singing her, "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" in front of everyone, which i felt was very sweet of him...
DaR also attended his army friend's wedding at the nearby Novotel Hotel on the same day... We both felt blue after dinner cos work week start the following day... So we both came to an agreement that we'll want our wedding to be on Sat so our guests can go home without having to worry about going back to work the following day... keke =P

Met the gers at VivoCity on Friday after work for Xin's Bachelorette's Nite... As Xin was the more happening one among us, we decided to gave her an unforgetable one before her Big Day... & believe me, we really did...
After dinner at Marche, we headed down to Dragonfly, where we took like half hr to locate a table... After settling down, we started with some photo-takings when all of us are still sober...
After a few drinks, it's show time...
1st task: we prepared signs for Xin to wear & go ard Dragonfly asking 5 cute guys to take a photo with her... People were staring at her with the sign she was wearing... the 1st was an uncle who excitedly walked up to us & start asking what are we promoting... Al'tot he's an uncle, we still asked him if he could help to contribute in our photo collection... Afterwhich, his not-our type friend came & we added him into the collection... Then was the 3rd one... The 4th was real cute but he's not those fun-loving type so we didnt talked much & left after the photo-taking... The last one was again recommended by the Uncle who see us coming back with one photo short...
After the 1st task, ppl start coming up to us toasting Xin for her Big Day... I also dunno how much she had drank but by 11plus she was ald damn high... & our own bottle was still half-full... then there was this guy from the Uncle gang who claim that he can't stand gers getting drunk & keep offering Xin "green tea"... Not too sure if those were really "green tea", cos after drinking that, tink she got worst... & when we accompany her to the toilet, she vomitted... & that was only the 1st time... When she came back to the table, she cannot even stand straight... Therefore, we have to forego the 2nd task which was to get 5 guys to bite the sweets off the ribbon that was to be tied on her neck...

See we got everything prepared and are ald on standby... But Xin really can't go any further... So I told the other gers to ask their hubby to fetch them earlier... Before we could make the calls, she vomitted again... This time was right at our table & even onto Serene, who was there with her while we went to make phone calls... All the ppl standing ard got stained by her vomit... kua kua kua... After clearing the mess, we decided to wait outside the club while waiting for all the hubby to the rescue... While waiting, Xin vomited again... and that was the 3rd time ald... This was the 1st time i see Xin getting so drunk... When we went countdown together years back, the most she did was climbing up and perform bartop dancing with Nick... hahaha=P
Bachelorette's Nite are getting more & more wild among us sia... I'm sure Xin will be out for revenge on the next bride-to-be... All the best to you, Esther...

Sent DaR's 3rd sis & the nephews to Airport on Sat morning... One month passed so quickly... It's time for them to return to Korea... Not sure when will they be coming back again... But her sis says they'll definately be back for our wedding... & she has been asking a few times during her stay here when's our Big Day... LoLx!

20/12/07 NUS X'mas Gathering
Everyone gathered at Lixia's hse for our annual X'mas celebration @ 4pm... This year color theme was green & red... While waiting for the late comers to start dinner, we had games prepared to entertain each other... For the 1st game, we were divided into groups... Eric brought a list of "Qian Bian Wen Da Ti" from his company's X'mas lunch... Some were heard b4 on Jacky Wu's show, some honestly i must say it's damn lame... Nevertheless, my group won...

As for the food, we wanted to have Turkey to make it more of the X'mas feel... So we ordered Turkey from Jack's place, which was a real mistake... The meat was tough & the sauce was tasteless... Too disappointed to even want to take any fotos of it... Other food we ordered were 933 Golden Pillow and Canadian Pizza... As usual, we always have lotsa food left over... So we have to play games to forfeit the "suay" ones & help to clear as much food as possible...
Lastly, was the gift exchange... This year, i assigned each person a X'mas Angel... U won't know who's getting gift for you till we have the exchange... To make it more interesting, i made a pair of wings similar to those on Tracy's Wedding... Everyone have to take turn put it on and be the X'mas Angel when revealing who they bought their gifts for...
Of cos I've to start the ball rolling...
& Yeah I'm Jiali's Angel... So next is her turn...

23/11/07 Elaine Bachelorette's Nite
We met at Cineleisure KBox for the KBuffet after work... That was my 1st time having KBuffet... I tot the buffet was quite ok with so much varieties...
They even have desserts and ice-cream... But the peppermint ice-cream really does tastes like colgate loh... haha =P
Al'tot this bacherolette's was not those with loud music & severe drinking type, we have a mission for the bride... That was to blow up 2 condoms that Xin specially bought... haha... But I don't think i'm allowed to post the photos or the clip up here... After KBox, next stop was Top Of The ‘M’ Revolving Restaurant where we sit & chat till it closed...
29/11/07 Tracy's Wedding
Woke up at 5.15am to get ready for Tracy's wedding... We were supposed to gather at 6.30am for the final discussion before the groom and gang arrived... BUT........ as usual i was late & even dragged Pauline down with me cos we were both travelling from Tampines to Bedok, the bride's place... keke =P
Except for the tekan session that got me all excited, the rest of a day i was juz kinda zombie... Probably was cos i havent had enough sleep the nite b4... I was busy preparing the crops for the groom & gang to wear till 2am... Drew 7 sets of wings for the tekan session... I tink too highly of myself that i could finish it off easily... haha =P But i guess the time were worth it... the guys look damn funny with it except that they wore it upside-down... which makes them look more like a chicken... LoLx! The groom sang the song which he used to propose to the bride & the rest of the games were guessing the correct kiss from the bride, licking of whipped cream, eating wasabi dumplings and chilli padi... After the 45mins of tekaning session, we squeezed till the groom "dry dry" and we were v.contented and satisfied with the achievement... LoLx =PNext Stop - One Fullerton for outdoor shoots.

That was the 4th time i went M Hotel within the same year... 1st was Sis's food tasting, 2nd was Sis's Wedding & 3rd was Lixia's Wedding... By the time 4 of us the jiemeis finish freshen up, it's almost time to move to our next destination which is Noble House, a restaurant under Tong Lok... Once there, we start setting up the table & standby for the guests to arrive...

The whole event went smoothly... The long day ended at 11pm... Home Sweet Home...

they've grown up so much... now ah zhen is 4 and ah chan is 5...
10/12/07 Elaine's Wedding
Wedding of the first F4 members... Attending and be the jiemei of a friend of 13yrs is somethg really happy... There were only 2 of us and outnumbered by the 7 brothers... The bride told us to go easy on the "uncles" so we only did the regular Singing, "Suan Tian Ku La", act cute pose, and lie in the floor to form letters... Standby for the tekan session...
The Day schedule was pretty easy & relax... Everything ended at ard 12noon... After the buffet at 1pm, Esther decided to go home to change so I've the whole helper's room to myself... Shiok... & again, to the M Hotel i go... Yes, it's my 5th time there...
Met with the banquet coordinators for briefing at ard 5.30pm... Afterwhich, I've to dropby Amara Hotel across the street to show face at my manager's wedding... Didn't stayed for long at Amara cos I've to rush back if not Esther will be alone at the recipient area...
Back to M Hotel...
Everything went as per planned... The relatives were all very fun-loving... We had a lot of fun and took alot of photos thro'out the nite...
